You know what?

I'm sad. I'm really, really sad. I'm very rarely sad.

Please make this all go away.

So, my blogren, tell me a story. Seriously.

Help me out here. No politics, just tell me a story.

I waited in fear of being a firstie. I said a little prayer for you, that God will wipe away your tears and pains. I thought of something to make you smile. I had nothing. So I dug in my emails, and this is what I found. I hope it'll wipe away the tears in your eyes, for now.......

An Elderly couple were celebrating their sixtieth anniversary. The couple had married as childhood sweethearts and had moved back to their old neighbourhood after they retired. Holding hands they walked back to their old school. It was not locked, so they entered, and found the old desk they'd shared, where Andy had carved "I love you, Sally."

On their way back home, a bag of money fell out of an armoured car, practically landing at their feet Sally quickly picked it up, but not sure what to do with it, they took it home. There, she counted the money--fifty-thousand dollars.

Andy said, "We've got to give it back." Sally said, "Finders keepers." She put the money back in the bag and hid it in their attic.

The next day, two FBI men were canvassing the neighbourhood looking for the money, and knocked on the door.

"Pardon me, but did either of you find a bag that fell out of an armoured car yesterday?" Sally said, "No."

Andy said, "She's lying. She hid it up in the attic."

Sally said, "Don't believe him, he's getting senile."

The agents turn to Andy and began to question him.

One says: "Tell us the story from the beginning.

Andy said, "Well, when Sally and I were walking home from school yesterday . ... "

The first FBI guy turns to his partner and says, "We're outta here."

Open your eyes to the good things that God is doing. If you don't see them its not because he isn't doing it but you are too preoccupied with anxiety. 'Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God'
All the time fear occurs remember, it is not backed by heaven. Heaven backs peace, love and contentment

@Maua - LOL!! Thanks for the laugh!

@Joyunspeakable - I'm trying, but it's not that easy. Not when my grandmother's getting death threats.

@Savage -Sigh. Life sucks, what can I say?

Well, you cheered me up last week, and i'm still in stitches, so here's a smile from your own archives:

"She looks like a glass of milk"

"We saw a donkey. We hit it with a stick. It died."

Smile, it'll be over soon. ;-)
